Accepting Sealed Bids - 2006 Chevrolet Avalanche

Notice is hereby given that the City of Philip, South Dakota is accepting sealed bids for a 2006 Chevrolet Avalanche LT Z71 with approximately 332,581 miles. Sold as is.

Sealed bids will be accepted in the City Finance Office, PO Box 408, 140 S. Howard Avenue, Haakon Co. Courthouse, 4th Floor, Philip, SD until 5:00 p.m., January 7, 2019. Bids must be sealed and clearly marked “2006 Chevrolet Avalanche”.

Terms: A bid must be accompanied by a certified check in the amount of 10% of bid. If a bid is awarded, the balance is due on or before January 30, 2019. The vehicle shall also be removed by no later than January 30, 2019. Buyer is also responsible for transferring title, registering and licensing said vehicle within 45 days of purchase. Should buyer fail to comply with any of the above terms, said vehicle will revert back to the ownership of the City.

Bids will be opened on Monday, January 7, 2019, at the regular meeting of the Philip City Council at 7:20 p.m. or as soon after that hour as possible.
