Notice of Intent to Use Community Development Block Grant In and Adjacent to Flood Plains
Pursuant to Executive Orders 11988, the City of Philip gives notice that Community Development Block Grant funds will be used to provide financial assistance to aid in making improvements to the city’s wastewater system in the southwest area of the city. Portions of the project lie in or adjacent to wetlands and/or floodplains. The City of Philip has investigated alternatives to this proposed action and has determined that there is no feasible alternative available to the city other than the proposed project. In order to provide adequate wastewater services to Philip residents, the project will proceed as currently planned.
