Police Department COVID-19 Statement

PHILIP POLICE DEPARTMENT COVID-19 STATEMENT

During the current state of emergency with the COVID-19 pandemic, the Philip Police Department is still here for you 24/7. With that being said, the Philip Police Department will be implementing new protocols in how we respond to calls for service.

All minor calls like assist persons, civil issues, dogs running at large, dog bites, car vs deer accidents, etc. will be handled over the phone. Call our department at 859-2850 and an Officer will assist you.

Please don't come to the Police Department to report crimes. For all types of serious calls, Officers will still respond to assist and resolve the matter at hand. If Officers come to your residence, they may ask you to step outside and speak with them, they will not be going into residences unless it's absolutely necessary. This is for their safety as well as yours.

Rest assured, our officers will still be out enforcing City and State Laws by addressing traffic violations and crimes to people and property. Officers will also be conducting extra patrols throughout the community.

Continue to use 911 for emergency only calls.
