City Rubble Site

Directions: From SD Hwy 73, go west on W. Cherry Street (south of the railroad tracks). This turns into Park Avenue. When the road turns south, continue for approximately ¾ mile. The site will be on the south side of Park Avenue.

The Rubble Site is licensed and regulated as a Restricted Use Site by the SD Department of Environment and Natural Resources. Only items approved through the license may deposited at the site. A listing of the authorized and unauthorized wastes can be found here.

 

HOURS OF OPERATION:

Summer Months (May 1st – Oct. 31st)
Open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the following days of each month:
1st, 3rd & 5th Saturdays
2nd & 4th Fridays
*If the rubble site is opened on a day other than a regular dump day, an additional 25% surcharge is added to all fees.

Winter Months (Nov. 1st – Apr. 30th)
Open from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the 1st Saturday of each month.
Residents may also call the Finance Office during regular office hours to schedule a delivery time during the week.
(The 25% surcharge is suspended during the winter month’s schedule.)
